VMS Software Has Moved to Burlington, MA
The main office of VMS Software, Inc. was moved from Bolton to Burlington, MA.
VSI is announcing two roadmap changes
VMS Software released an updated roadmap:
- H2 2020 – OpenVMS V9.0-X EAK released monthly (first release: May 15, 2020)
- H1 2021 – OpenVMS V9.1 EAK for x86
- H1 2022 – OpenVMS V9.2 production release for x86
VSI OpenVMS V9.0-D Released
VSI has delivered OpenVMS V9.0-D for x86. This release includes support for XFC, SMP, and DECram. Details can be found here.
OpenVMS V9.0-C Released
OpenVMS on x86 was made available to the first customer on May 15, 2020. With the 29-July Release V9.0-C, there are now 21 external users testing the system. The rollout plan is to continue adding at least five more customers each month for the rest of 2020.
VMS Software Community License Available
VMS Software, Inc. is excited to announce the availability of the OpenVMS Community License that allows the OpenVMS community members (hobbyists, non-commercial software developers, and others) to obtain an OpenVMS license free of charge.
