Based on an estimated number of hours per month, the customer gets access to experienced OpenVMS systems engineer on a when required basis. This service is ideally used to re-inforce the customer’s own organization during staff absences and when additional operations resources are needed. The service is not suitable for emergencies.

Customer gets access to one or more senior systems engineers, who will work on operational tasks to an agreed fixed schedule, defined in days/hours per week or month. The service fits in well with customers who lack the capacity to perform a set of regular operational services.

With proactive services, VSI will allocate a senior OpenVMS systems engineer to a customer to take responsibility for the daily operations, maintenance and development of the OpenVMS environment. The service always starts with a Discovery service, to clearly map out the systems and applications environment.
