VMS Software Appoints Adam Hoff-Nielsen as Chief Account Management Officer
Effective July 1, 2025, Adam Hoff-Nielsen has been appointed Chief Account Management Officer at VMS Software, succeeding Jan Magnusson. Based in Copenhagen, Adam has been a key member of our European team for the past five years, serving as Account Management Director. In his new role, he will oversee global account management operations.
Adam is a seasoned clean-tech professional with over two decades of international experience leading complex technical projects. His expertise is underpinned by a robust academic foundation, holding an MBA, an MSc, and a BEng. Adam brings a strategic, data-driven approach to customer engagement, and is deeply committed to enhancing the value our clients derive from OpenVMS. He will continue the journey initiated by Jan Magnusson, focusing on listening to our customers and delivering exceptional service to protect and grow their investment.

His leadership was instrumental in building and shaping our Account Management teams across the US and Europe, and in rekindling meaningful conversations with our customers. His influence spans every department, having helped define the mission we live by today. Many of us have benefited from his wisdom, mentorship—and the legendary cakes he brings to our offices. We are not saying good-bye yet; Jan will continue to support VMS Software & Teracloud Group in a consulting capacity as he gradually transitions out of his role.
