OpenVMS V9.2-3 is Available!
We are excited to announce the release of OpenVMS V9.2-3, the latest production update for x86 systems. This release brings a suite of new features, stability enhancements, and critical fixes, building on the foundation of V9.2-2 and subsequent updates.
Highlights of this OpenVMS V9.2-3 release include:
- VMware VMDirectPath Support for direct access to Fibre Channel data disks.
- Guest Console, a VGA/keyboard-based alternative to virtual serial ports.
- Paravirtualized NIC Support for higher network throughput using Virtio-Net (KVM) and VMXNET3 (VMware) NICs.
- VMware vMotion Support, enabling seamless migration of running virtual machines across vSphere cluster hosts.
- Automatic TCP/IP and OpenSSH Configuration, simplifying setup for new installations.
This release also updates key built-in products, including TCP/IP V6.0-26, SSL3 V3.0-15, and OpenSSH V8.9-1J.
