Brett Cameron speaks at Code BEAM Europe and MQ Summit in Berlin
After attending the recent OpenVMS Bootcamp in Portsmouth, our Chief Application Services Officer Brett Cameron traveled to Berlin to connect with the Erlang community and share insights at two major conferences.
At Code BEAM Europe 2025, Brett spoke about the feasibility of porting Erlang/OTP to OpenVMS and other mainframe-like operating systems. At MQ Summit 2025, he discussed strategies for integrating legacy application environments with modern systems using message brokers such as RabbitMQ and LavinMQ.
Both sessions were well received, and Brett enjoyed conversations with attendees who had worked extensively with OpenVMS in the past and were excited to learn more about its future on x86-64.
