OpenVMS Compilers Field Test
VMS Software, Inc. is proud to announce availability of three new important compiler releases for VSI OpenVMS x86.
VSI C++ field test compiler is now available for a wider audience. The compiler is based on the LLVM Clang compiler with additional OpenVMS features including a DCL interface, additional pragmas, and predefined symbols. There are some changes from the OpenVMS I64 C++ compiler that are documented in the release notes included in the kit. There are also several OpenVMS features that are still under development and will be provided in future updates.
VSI C X7.4-725 is the initial field test release of C for OpenVMS x86. The compiler is based on VSI C for OpenVMS I64 for source compatibility.
VSI Fortran X8.5-0002 is the initial field test release of Fortran on OpenVMS x86. The compiler is based on VSI Fortran on OpenVMS I64 for source compatibility.
