Paris, France OpenVMS 40th Anniversary Celebrations
Over 100 attendees from the media, VMS Generations (French OpenVMS user groups), HPE, Oracle, and VMS Software, Inc. celebrated the 40th Anniversary of the OpenVMS Operating System at an HPE-hosted event at the Maison de l’Amerique Latine, in Paris. Representatives of VMS Software, HPE, Oracle, and VMS Generations presented.
Terry Holmes, VMS Software's VP of Sales & Marketing, led VMS Software's team in presentations of VMS Software's future OpenVMS vision, the current roadmap, the status of the x86-64 port and VMS Software's new online, self-paced training program.
