VMS Software, Inc. Launches New Version 8.4-2L1 of OpenVMS Operating System Worldwide
VMS Software, Inc. (VSI) today announced the worldwide availability of VSI OpenVMS Version 8.4-2L1 (Hudson Release) operating system (OS) for HPE Integrity servers. The Hudson Release is the third by VSI. This new OS is VSI’s third OpenVMS release in the past 16 months. All OpenVMS components that are dependent on OpenSSL have been modified to make use of a new VSI SSL1 V1.0 offering--which implements the latest OpenSSL 1.0.2 standard. — See Products page.
